WHY TATTOO YOUR LIPS?
As we age, we lose the color in our lips and skin all together. The most immediate lip blush benefit that many of our clients notice is how much more “awake” they look. This comes from the color enhancement and refinement lip blush gives you. A little bit of color added can go a long way. And lip blush gives you a long term solution for that.

Before and immediately after lip procedure. See how we have defined the client cupids bow and accentuated her full lip shape. This colour will fade by around 40-60%, leaving a softer, more natural blushed finish.
Lip Blushing is fantastic on mature lips. We lose our vermillion boarder as we age, so lip blushing can redefine these edges and give the appearance of a fuller, more youthful lip.

Pre procedure advice
7 days prior - Moisturise your lips every night with a layer of coconut oil or castor oil, Vaseline also works. STAY HYDRATED - drink at least 2ltrs of water every day, for 7 days prior.
5 days prior - If you have suffered with cold sores, you MUST take a course of Aciclovir 400mg tablets 5 days before and after your procedure, these can be purchased from Pharmacia Online. This now comes in a cream form, so suitable and requested for all clients.
3 days prior - Exfoliate your lips and keep them well moisturized for 2 weeks leading up to your appointment. Dry lips effect the treatment and healed results. Keep hydrated! Mix together sugar and honey and massage into lips for 10 seconds.
48 hours prior - No Alcohol or Caffeine, this will thin your blood, we want to avoid any bleeding as this will affect the healed results.
10 minutes prior - If your lips are still dry, please add a layer of Bepanthan to your lips and cling film, leave this on whilst on route to your appointment.

We have premixed examples of lip blush pigments; this helps in the consultation regarding tones you are hoping to achieve. Every colour mixed is bespoke to you and your undertones.
Some clients prefer more of a “lipstick” look, so here we added peachier tones, making her lips less natural looking, meaning the client can “Gloss and Go” giving that lipstick look.
Here we wanted to demonstrate how much brighter the initial treatment is compared to the healed results. My clients healed lips after 1 session looked gorgeous, we just wanted to add a little more colour, the immediately after looks much bolder than the healed results will be.
